Classic Herbed Turkey

Serves 4–6 | Prep. time 10 minutes | Cooking time 27 minutes

Ingredients

1 teaspoon dried basil

1 teaspoon white pepper

2 pounds boneless turkey breast, halved

2 cloves garlic, crushed

3 whole cloves garlic

1 tablespoon sugar

¼ cup olive oil

½ cup soy sauce

½ cup lemon juice

3 cups chicken broth (divided)

Directions

Place the turkey breasts in a Ziploc bag and add the basil, cloves, soy sauce, olive oil and lemon juice. Add 1 cup of the broth, shake well, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Open the top lid of your Instant Pot and press SAUTÉ.

Add the oil to the pot and heat it.

Add the garlic; stir-cook for 2 minutes until fragrant.

Add the remaining broth and the turkey along with 2 tablespoons of the marinade liquid.

Close the lid and make sure that the valve is sealed properly.

Press POULTRY and set timer to 25 minutes.

The Instant Pot will start building pressure; allow the mixture to cook for the set time.

When the timer reads zero, press NPR for natural pressure release. It will take 8–10 minutes to release the pressure.

Open the lid and take out the prepared recipe. Serve warm.
